Manually run reporting engine

I know the reporting settings will take effect the next night..what if i want the reporting runs to go immediatly? I ahve a client shoe database is salvageable I jsut need to force the midnight reporting run for hte database now instead of waiting.

Does this do what you want?

/usr/local/bin/report_render.plx --type daily --sendmail

I have reset the retention ont he database to two weeks because that's what is still good. Will this clean out everything but the last two weeks?

This is all untested by me - make sure you have good backups (not just config backups but database backups too).

I understood your initial post to want the reporting run. I didn't see anything that makes me think that cleans up anything in the database.

For the database cleanup you might try:
/usr/local/bin/adbs-maintenance.plx

Before doing that you might want to review:
/usr/local/bin/adbs-maintenance.plx --simulation --level d

Again, I got my hints from crontab (database maintenance at 6:40 and 18:40).
