VDSL option in interface setup

Hi,

Just wondering what the VDSL option in the interface edit dialog actually changes? I am using a 9.2 configuration with a VDSL modem with PPPOE, but just wanted to know what happens if I check this VDSL box. Does it modify default MTU?
