Web Protection Reports Blank

ASG525 v9.11-7

I have just noticed that my web usage reports are empty. I have recently updated to the most recent revision. According to my up2date logs, the first package that I installed when I did my update was: Installing up2date package file '/var/up2date//sys/u2d-sys-9.106017-107033.tgz.gpg'

I have checked the Web Usage Reports for Today, Yesterday, Last week, Last Month and a custom time frame from the start of the month. In all cases it appears that there is no data generated by the report. The Search Engine report for a variety of timeframes also fails to display any data.

Checking the process list whie running a report does not show the postGres database process in the top 15, and the websec-reporter process is only running at about 1% CPU.

Does anyone want to throw a dart?

  • If you're sure that Reporting for Web Filtering is configured on the 'Settings' tab, you can do /etc/init.d/postgresql92 rebuild.  That may delete some or all of your past reporting data though.

    Cheers - Bob

  • Yup, I can certainly rebuild the database. I was hoping that there would be a solution that didn't risk being so destructive.
