All Logging Stopped

I have a new installation of the UTM 9.1x i setup last week due to issues with 9.2.
I was checking mail flow today and found on the Logging \ View Log Files that all logging has stopped.  

I can't imagine how to find the root cause of this.

  • Rebooting got the logs moving but there's a large gap from about 1am yesterday Pacific time to now.  I noticed yesterday that my outbound smtp smarthost password was not working.  I got mail flowing by resetting the password but I didn't check logs at that time.  It looks like an inelegant hacking of the UTM but without logs... it's anyone’s guess.
