I have Astaro Security Gateway V8 and just noticed that when I am uploading music into my iTunes Match account my eth1 (WAN) interface shows link "error" and my internet connection slows to a molasses-like trickle. I also noticed that when streaming iTunes radio on my iPad (which is included in the "transparent" list) it skips when the connection should be fast enough o stream with no problem. I added an exception for iTunes, but I thought this was pointless since my iPad is included in the transparent list already.
