[9.2] Network disconnect - no access - reboot requied

On a new installation, I'm seeing strange behaviour from the UTM v9.2.
Today at 17:22 Pacific Time, network functionality appeared to go awry. 

Issue 1:
I could not access the device via Web Admin.

Issue 2:
I received certificate errors when attempting to reach ssl-based web sites like Facebook.com.  This is outlined in another thread here:

My UTM is installed on a VMWare Hypervisor so I have the ability to look at server stats in real time when things are strange.  Networking traffic counts went from baseline norms to zero (all interfaces).  All logs show inability to connect to various external servers at this time.

Cutting power to the vm then restarting it corrected both problems.[:(]
