UTM-220: Standby WAN link in down state?

Greetings all,

Using uplink balancing on a UTM-220 (FW 9.106-17), we've designated one WAN link as an active interface and one as a standby interface.  The status of the standby interface is :

State: standby
Link: down

Thing is, the link is actually physically up (green lights).  Is this expected behavior?

    Yes, expected.  If your cost for the WAN2 connection is the same regardless of usage, you should consider truly doing Uplink Balancing with Multipath Rules.  Failover is much quicker.
