LDAP password change

Is it possible for users that authenticate to the User Portal with LDAP change their passwords via the User Portal? I see the option to disable Change Password for User Portal settings. I do not see the option to change password when logged onto the User Portal.

I suppose it's not possible but haven't tried it.

It is my belief that only local accounts can make use of the change password feature in the User Portal.

You might be able to change the password of a Local user synced from AD/LDAP, but that would not change the password in the LDAP/AD server. If it did let you, and if anything caused the user to be re-synced to the UTM, the changed password would be overwritten.

Thanks. I'm just trying to find a way for the users to change their password. Since the UTM can't send the password change back to the LDAP server I am looking into other means. One is using the builtin web page for Mac Server but that is having issues with HTML5 VPN WebApp (https).
