No PPPOE Connection within EXSI environment

Hello,

first of all sorry for my bad english [:D]

I'm trying to connect my sophos UTM 9.1 to the Internet.
My internet connection is a 50k V-DSL2 Connection by german Telekom.
The modem I use is a Allnet ALL126AS2, connected to a Intel GBit NIC.

Sophos is running in a EXSI 5.1 virtualized VM on a HP microserver.

First I tried with the virtual appliance, but it doesnt support vlan tagging (or its hidden somewhere) so now I installed the Full Soft Iso.

The modem settings are corect (PPPOE Connection from Windows OS works fine)

This is the result:

Here are my settings:

I hope someone can help me, otherwise it has a negative effect on my monitors conditions ;-)

  • Hello,

after 10 hours of time-wasting it seems to work..
I even should not select any settings like vdsl or Vlan Tagging in the network configuration and I reinstalled the vm to let the network controller work in vmx mode.

And there has to go a "H" in front of my pppoe login, that is the service provider identification number.

    There is still one problem.

I opened port 80 and redirected it to my webserver.
    All outgoing ports are opened.

Why is it not possible to connect to my own WAN IP?

I tested this from a mobile device, the forward works fine..
