Incorrect throughput on dashboard?

From the attached screenshot, can someone please tell me why the input for the LAN and ALL is ~5 Mbit but the out for ALL and WAN are closer to 10 Mbit? Seems like something is not being calculated correctly. This had been this way for a while and I am only behind 1 update which does not show a fix for this.

    Hmmm, I'm confused.  I see that your ALL IN is about 5, and ALL OUT is about 10.  

    What do you think it should be?

    That is a bit strange, Have you verified that there is really not 10MB of traffic on the WAN interface? I suggest taking a look at the traffic statistics on your upstream device - i.e. your ISP router and see if that device is seeing the same amount of traffic. If it does - then you may want to take a look at your firewall logs to see if you are being hit with a bunch of traffic from the Internet.

    I have no way of looking at my ISP modem. It does not give those types of statistics. I have a docsis 3 SMC3 router from Comcast, in case you are familiar.

    It is just plain wrong. At the taime the capture was taken, I had offsite backup running. As soon as I paused the backup, everything dropped down to the kilobit range. As soon as I started the backup running again, the backup show approx. 5Mb per second and the dashboard returned to the same numbers as in the screenshot.

    iftop is showing correctly. It is only the dashboard that is wrong.

    Now, how to fix without and completely new install.
