2 geographically divided UTM's using same rules

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible connect two UTM's that are on different locations so that they have the same webfiltering rules and firewall rules?

Also using the same hotspot codes would be a real plus, but I think this is not possible without having the 1.2.3.4 address in a VPN-tunnel. But that would break wireless altogehter when the VPN-connection would fail.

It really seems I have to do double work now with almost every change we make, where we cannot currently use the same hotspot codes for both locations.

PS using a RED on one of the locations is not what we prefer because both locations have servers that need to be accesible from outside.

    I think the easiest option would be that you manage both UTM by SUM. So you could deploy settings on both. But vouchers are unique - maybee there would be an option to export and import from DB, but sure this is no supportet option! ;-)

    Maybee it would be an option to connect both UTMs via RED Tunnel and handle Web Traffic only on one of them. So you could use one voucher DB and the servers are reachable directly. 

    But without detailed informations it is hard to say what option is the best for your Situation.

    So, you have two sites with 320s in Hot-Standby?

    Have you tried the free UTM Manager?

    using the same hotspot codes would be a real plus

    Why not use WPA2-Enterprise for employees and Hotspot for guests?

    I haven't tried SUM, seems I must try it and see what it offers.
    We are already using WPA2-enterprise for our company's laptops, but for our employees' own devices (and for guests) we use the hotspot functionality. Our employees get 180 day vouchers, guests usually only 1 day or a week if necessary.

    Anyway thanks so far, I'm going to try SUM one of these days.
