[BUG] UTM Uses DUID, not IAID to set static ipv6 address

I posted about this previously, but there were no replies to this particular issue.

I consider this to be a bug. When you configure a host, utm uses the MAC address to set a static ipv4 address. For laptops, which typically have wired and wireless NICs, there are unique mac addresses for each. However, when you configure the ipv6 address, utm uses the DUID. This is a problem for laptops, because the DUID is not unique for wired and wireless NICs. On Windows 7, both the wired and wireless NICs have the same DUID (which is based on the mac address of the wired NIC), however the IAIDs are unique. Because utm is only using the DUID, it's not possible to set unique ipv6 addresses for wired and wireless NICs.

    I just moved my network to IPv6, but I have different subnets setup.

    Do you have your wireless and your wired clients in the same subnet?

    Yes, they are all in the same subnet. Not sure if that makes any difference for this particular issue, however. At least on windows 7, utm has no way to tell the difference between a wired or wireless NIC because it only uses the DUID. If it walks like a bug and quacks like a bug, it's a bug. This isn't a "feature".

    It isn't just window laptops, MACs also suffer the same problem.
