DNS Entry in Object

Hi can anyone explain me what does this DNS Option fields that I marked with the blue circle do?

I am using a Windows AD DNS Server....
Do I need to enter here something?

you will not ping 192.168.1.10, but hostname.local or whatever

No, you do not need to enter something. Entering a DNS name in this field is only necessary if you are using the UTM as DNS server for your internal network. In earlier versions this was located under "Network Services" -> "DNS" -> "Static Hosts"...
