email setup for home UTM

I'm about 2 weeks into my install and I'm finally getting to addressing the isue of my UTM sendin Notifications and being able to email scheduled reports.

I do not have a SMTP server on my internal network but I have and ISP mail server that I can use.

How and where do I configure the UTM such that it will be able to send email notifications and email reports? [:S]

Hi Joe,

Googled "hostgator port 465" and the following link came up: http://forums.hostgator.com/outgoing-smtp-using-ssl-port-465-t44830.html?

Looking from that I see two things out of place on your config. 1) Use TLS should be checked as that port is for SSL secured email. and 2) The page suggests that usernames need to be in the form of yourname+yourdomain, not yourname@yourdomain, which is what I see on your screen caps.

Also, from this link: Outlook / Eudora / Thunderbird / Mac / iPad / Phone Client Settings « HostGator.com Support Portal if your ISP blocks outgoing SMTP on port 25, they support port 26 as an alternative.

I'm not a hostgator customer so YMMV.
