As mentioned in a previous thread, I am using VLAN2 as the home ssid and VLAN3 as a guest ssid. I convinced my family that all wifi devices were 10.10.150.XX and all Ethernet devices were 10.10.50.XX and they can cope with that.
My setup
UTM9 10.10.50.1
eth0 - Cisco 1140 Access point. 2 vlans. Home WiFi (vlan2 10.10.150.1), Guest WiFi (vlan3 10.10.20.1)
eth1 - Cable modem
eth2 - DSL modem
eth3 - Internal LAN (10.10.50.1)
When I am connected on HOME vlan2 I CANNOT see anything else in vlan2. However, I CAN see all devices on (eth3 internal) interface on a different subnet.
When I change HOME vlan2 to native vlan1, I CAN see other devices in the same vlan1 AND eth3 internal but I do not have internet access from vlan1.
I had internet access on vlan2 and just simply changed vlan tag from 2 to 1 in the interface page. So all routing should be the same.
This problem may not be with UTM9 but with the Cisco 114 AP. I was just hoping that someone could point me in the right direction about working with vlans. I may just be missing a check box somewhere but I neet to understand this first.
Thanks.
