strange memory behaviour

I recognized that my firewall dropped memory from 55% to 21% immediately and is now running with 33%.
I´ve attached a picture but had no idea what happened.
Does anyone have an idea?

    Probably a service restarted. 

    Maybe IPS after a pattern update.

    Hard to say for sure... if you really care, look at the logs at the time in question.

    I'm not sure it's worth worrying about unless something else is wrong.

    If you have more questions, please include the version number, e.g. 9.004, and what features you have enabled, and how much RAM you have.
