Email reports not being sent anymore

Hi all,

I updated Astaro to v8.309 and since then, it's not sending the nightly reports via email anymore.  In the logs I find this :

I changed the mail server's IP address to IP_ADDRESS.  The fact it's not able to deliver to astaro@geert.cc is normal as well - this address doesn't exist.  However it should mail the reports to my email address, and it doesn't anymore since the firmware update.

The "certification verification failed" message is worrying me though.  Any ideas what might be wrong ... ?

PS: The mailserver is Exchange 2010 for which a new certificate has been installed yesterday.  According to me, the reports don't arrive anymore since a couple of days, so prior to using the new certificate.

    Hi, Geert, and welcome to the User BB!

    I don't understand why your Exchange server is involved with this.  The emails should go directly from your Astaro to gmail.  Have you configured an 'External SMTP Server' on the 'Advanced' tab of 'Notifications'? That shouldn't be necessary unless you had a smart host configured in Exchange before the installation of the Astaro.

    But, it doesn't make sense that this problem just appeared.  Try deleting the 'Notification recipients' and ten re-populating that box.  Any luck now?

    Thanks for the assistance so far, much appreciated !

    I got rid of the External SMTP server, and deleted + re-entered the email address used as recipient and now see this in the logs :

    So it looks like it's working fine, but the mail isn't arriving [:(]
    I got rid of the gmail address - it's the geert.cc address where it arrive

    It remains a mystery why that setup was working fine before, but not since the firmware has been updated to the latest version..
