ASG220 and DSL PPPoE Not Connecting

I just had to switch me service provider to Bell and now have their Bell Communication Hub DSL modem. I worked with Bell to verify that their modem is in bridged mode and we connected a laptop and verified we could browse the Internet. Now I plug the Astaro in, created an interface of PPPoE, put in login credentials but it will not connect. I have a static IP from Bell but I tried putting it in the Interface configuration and still nothing. This interface is also my Default Gateway.

I'm stuck with an office full of people with no access. ny help would be appreciated.

Thanks for this info.

We used this to make our work, however our ISP (Eclipse in the UK) does not give me the IP, we needed to add that.

So:

PPPOE
No VDSL
Static PPPOE IP: Then we entered the address given, but interestingly the Netmask was 255.255.255.255 despite Eclipse saying 255.255.255.252
We needed to tick the default gateway (which was assigned by Eclipse automatically)
Enter the username and password
MTU 1492
Daily reconnect blank
Reconnect delay 5 seconds.
