No Notification Mails after update 8.305 --> 8.306

Hey there,

I discoverd a problem with ASTARO Security Gateway after update from Verison 8.305 --> 8.306

For me it looks that no more notification mails are send.

I do not get (no mor visible in SMTP-log)

- [FW_Name][INFO-720] Daily Executive Report

- [FW_Name][CRIT-852] Intrusion Prevention Alert (Packet dropped)

which worked well before the update.
No configuration changes where made after the update.

I did a faulty login to the admin Interface, no notification mail was generated.

Is there any possibility to trace in log files. The information from the Webinterface gives me the impression that no notification mail are send anymore.

I did a reboot again, no notification mail about the restart of the firewall.

In my mailserver log notification mails are received until the ASTARO was on Version 8.305

Hi, have you checked the mail spool/queue?

Hi Barry,

for me the whole system works OK, except the notification mails.

The spool queue is empty.
Messages about quarantained emails are delivered and you can release them.

Check the 'Admin notifications' logs.

Just a SWAG - try deleting the Notification recipients, Apply, and then add them back and Apply.

Do you use a smart host with the SMTP proxy?

Hi Bob,

I have done the following with no result

- notification receipient deleted --> saved
- notification receipient added --> saved
- additional notification receipient added --> saved

- All notification settings saved, reboot
--> no notification mails generated (checked in smtp-log)

PS: for Info, I dont know if this is relevant for this error
Just after the update I realised that my mail and web subscription will expire in the next 30 days

I do not use a smart host. I pass the mails from the astaro directly to the exchange server

I too am having this same problem.  updated on 9/19 and that's the last executive report I have.

I am receiving daily web security reports, but nothing in the line of executive reports.  They just aren't generating on their own.

I was able to go in and generate a report for today, so it isn't the generation process.  Maybe a cron job or something is failing.

I did a fresh install of UTM9 restored the configuration from V8.305 --> notification mails working
