Hi.

Can any one tel me if the commands below applied to Ver 9 too?

Rebuild the database with following commands - line by line:

/etc/init.d/postgresql stop
rm -fr /var/log/reporting/pgsql
/etc/init.d/postgresql start
mkdir /var/log/reporting/pgsql
chown postgres: postgres /var/log/reporting/pgsql
/var/storage/pgsql/init/reporting_db_init.sh -v

Thanks...

  • Two things you can do before digging deeper.

    1)  Go to the advanced tab in the web proxy and clear the cache.  If there's a lot in there, it can take a few minutes to clear, during which time I/O will go a little nuts.
    2)  Reboot to clear temp files.

    1. I don't use cache.
    2. already tried it - no salvation.

I use the command: cd /var/storage/cores  ->  ls
then rm * to remove them all.
That put my data disk back to normal size.

I also run your suggestion, and it seems to help.
The CPU and the memory graph also look normal now.
I wonder what can cause this malfunction.

    Thanks [:)]
