Flow Monitor - who causes traffic

Hello,

how can i see which user is causing the most traffic at any given time?

I see the overall inbound and outbound traffic in the dashboard and the Flow Monitor shows me the services and the overall amount of data thats used but not who causes the traffic. 

Where can i see that?

    The functionality exists, but it's barely usable.

    Specifically, in the dashboard, you can click on the "in" or "out" usage bar in the interface list (either on a specific interface or on the consolidated bar on top if you want a complete overview) and you'll get a popup with the list of concurrent connections with ports, IP and usage.

    Unfortunately, the UI is rather slow and doesn't update really well. It also sems that it takes a small monitoring window but take way longer to update, resulting is less than stellar precision.

    In all honesty, I've never found the function to give accurate or even usable result: I always had to drop back to iptop for really monitoring bandwidth usage (fortunately, keepass+Keeagent+key-based login+putty make that process fairly painless as well as secure)
