Backuping and Restoring LOGS

Hi:

I'm trying to setup a new clean Astaro installation. I have a Astaro server where I took over SSH with WinSCP all the logs files (\var\logs) to my hard disk, after I copied all those logs to my New clean installation ASTARO. I restored the new installation with the backup of the old astaro

In the new installation I found all those logs but in the Web Usage Report I don't have any report

Somebody can't help about it

If you go to Support>>Advanced, do you see a Weblog Import Tab and if so, is it populated with your logfiles?

Yeap I see the Weblog Import Tab, I select All files press apply, wait about 10min. No result

What version were you upgrading from? That import was really only designed to work with 8.2x logs.

I copied the logs from astaro 8.2 to astaro 8.3 Esxi

What version were you upgrading from? That import was really only designed to work with 8.2x logs.

Old astaro logs 8.2, new astaro 8.3 esxi appliance

CAn the Log files that are copied back on the Astaro Appliance be in the LOG.GZ compressed format?

Just only copy from one Astaro to another always overwritting

I'm off loading the logs every day from the Appliance to our SYSLOG SERVER, this was the one that was packaged together with the ARM reporting software. The logs are in one big text file that is compressed. I dont see anything like these actually on the appliance. So i'm not sure if this is even possible to restore logs in this fashon. yes no problem from appliance to appliance, as you would copy the og folder. Has anyone restore logs From the Syslogs server back to thew appliance this way?

Any info would be great.
