[8.300] Web Security report(s)

We have been having issues with the web security report since 8.2 - that graph on the executive report has random huge blanks. We've been on and off with support, I've opened four different cases I think, trying to get a fix for this. 8.3 was supposed to fix it, but the problem definitely remains. I've attached some snips of some examples. 

The apparently accompanying issue of the box starting to "CPU-spike" (my own terminology) every 15 minutes roughly after several days of running and then our users complaining of extremely slow internet access, may be partially resolved. It was horribly slow after the last delete of the reporting database, but after several days seems to have started responding fairly normally.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions about these blank sections, and the missing data? I'm fairly certain that the data really isn't there, when trying to run reports on the web interface.

I think support has given up trying to figure this out. All I get anymore is "delete the databases, that will fix it." And so we do it, and then the same old thing since last fall.
