CLI allow interface to admin web

Hi,

I am in the unfortunate situation that a backup for some reason left out the LAN interface which was admin interface.

I have CLI access but no web.

Is there a command to add an interface to allowed interfaces to webadmin ?

    I'm going to guess that it is only disabled instead of not defined.  Try https://support.astaro.com/support/index.php/How_to_enable_the_internal_interface_via_cc.

    However, that was not the case.
    Our chairman of the board is running a home version and accedently dropped the firewall - never figured out why.
    But it broke, fan plastic clips broken and HDD likely damaged..

    I know a guy in the area that has a old ASG220 stored away for spare and I called him up, and he agreed to drive over with the wall ( its the other end of the country for me ).
    Sent him a configuration file and one hour later he calls me and says he can't fint the local LAN interface which is the only one enabled with SSH and admin interface...[:O]

    In the end I had no choice than to restore over my own firewall to see if I could correct the error.
    The old conf. used ETH0 as LAN and when restoring the conf it adds ETH1 to ETH4 where ETH4 was free for use.
    So, with keyboard and screen attached I logged into the firewall in the CLI and configured ETH4 with the IP range of the "lost LAN". And assign ETH4 to the LAN definition..

    Bingo.. I had webinterface and could now configure "allow any" to the admin interface and save another configuration and send it over - which now worked.

    Was alot of work and I still dont get how a ASG120 rev3 with a home edition installed could not be restored onto my ASG120 rev4 without loosing the LAN nic. Even with the ASG220 toastet with a fresh home version and conf restore it just trashed the ETH0.

    Anyway, problem solved.. a little wiser for next time.
