Clustering question

I have three ASG 425's clustered running 8.203. That will be connected to three different core switches. The ports on the Cisco switches are 10/100/1000, the eth3 ports on the 425's are 10/100/1000.

My question is this.... can I utilize the 1000mb speed of the ports or do I need to back the Cisco core switch ports down to 100mb?

cisco's get weird. Lock the ports on the cisco to 1gb and do the same for the asg's and see if that helps.

Just a side note, the LAN ans WAN ports on the ASG's are plugged into the same core switches that the clustering port were plugged into that are in question.

Also, do the ports on the ASG auto negotiate? The ports on the core switches are set to 100mb so would the clustering ports on the ASG auto set to 100mb? How can I tell what speed the ports are running at?
