Network usage report in / out

Just wondering..

In the network usage report / bandwidth usage report, there is two columns "In" and "Out".

Since I got some pretty large numbers in "Out" I "think" I have to see "Out" as traffic incomming from the internet.

But is that correct ?

Outbound should be traffic leaving the interface on the client..

Can someone verify the definition of In and Out here ?

Thanks in advance.

  • In/Outbound is from the viewpoint of the interface, so Inbound on the Internal interface is from your internal network, and Inbound on the External interface is from the internet.
