Network Usage - how to find out from which ip adress

Hello,

we are using an astaro asg220 version 8.202

We got every day the executive report from the astaro.

In the Report from yesterday i see that from an interface the bandwith usage was at the limit for 3 hours.

now i want to find out from which ip adress, service, how ever this network usage comes.

there gives this nice chart where we can see the usage, when i go with the mouse over the diagram, i see how much they have used from the bandwith, but i doesnt find the ip adresse, service, etc.. what was the culprit.

how can i find out what take the whole bandwith from this interface, from us?

    Study the Executive Report.  In this case, the 'Network Usage' section should have the information you're looking for.

    hello balfson,

    thx for your answer, i know this that i find maybe the correct info in this section. but i doesnt have there a date/time, so i cant say that the traffic comes from this source to this destination on this time and this date..

    do you understand it? its nice to can say "i estimation it comes from this pc" but estimation is not knowing.. 

    is there any way to get more information, or must i go over the console to get this

    Bob, you are right when the traffic is not proxied. Today I got an executive report in which someone downloaded 2gb from mydrive.ch, but in network usage the bandwidth was calculated coming from myfirewall and not from the ip of the client... (well, I know WHO downloaded these files, in Italy we use to say "I know my chickens" [:)] )

    Hey, Fabio - thanks for the language compliment in the Italian thread!  Is this literally, "so i miei polli"?

    Psyax, now, to get more detail, go to 'Logging and Reporting >> Network Usage' and look on the 'Bandwidth Usage' tab.  Usually, though, this is clear from the top clients and top servers list on the Executive Report.

    If you still need another suggestion, please tell us what service was the issue, if that is associated with an Astaro Proxy and the setting/mode of that proxy.

    we doesnt use a proxy... but its ok.. we found out from which pc this comes..
