DNS host not showing.

I have a minecraft server hosted for my son and log trafic on the specific port. I have defined a DNS host based on the logging but the name defined does not show up in "Interface & Routning" nor in "Logging and Reporting".
I can get this to work by setting up just a host with the specific IP number but that´s not good enough because the IP´s involved are changing every day.

Does anyone have suggestion how to get DNS host definition showed in both log and interface & routning ?

    You a right at that - here goes

    Define af DNS host with name test with a hostname like : ***x.*banqu1.*customer.*tele.*uk
    Then the name Test schould appear in the list instead of ***x.*banqu1.*customer.*tele.*uk when you go into "Interface & routning" in top source host (you have a category named User/Host).

    I understand now.  You certainly could submit a feature request at Astaro Gateway Feature Requests.

    The problem is that traffic moves and data is kept by IP address, not by name; it's only at reporting time that the IP is translated into a name.  If there's a host definition in WebAdmin for the IP or a reverse DNS entry available for it, the name or FQDN will appear.  It would be an extra step to see if an FQDN retrieved via reverse DNS corresponds to a DNS Host definition.
