Mac OS X loosing Network connectivity

Network setup:
Astaro 8.201
Windows Computers: 6 (XP, ME, 7)
MAC OS X (10.6.8): 1

The Windows computers all run fine. The MAC computer looses all network connectivity after anywhere from 10 minutes to 8-10 hours later.  This is my wife's computer and she says the problem started when I put the Astaro firewall in place.

I know Windows and how to view and config.  Where should I look for the MAC/Astaro to try to find out what's going on?

The Astaro is running as my firewall, DHCP, and primary DNS server.

    firstly I would recommend upgrading to 8.202 by doing a fresh install from the iSO.
    Secondly, this is not the forum for this type of query, the correct forum is management, networking, logging and reporting.

    Now having sorted that out what do the logs show for the MAC?

    I currently have 3 Mac Book Pros running on my home network. The only time they loose connectivity is when they go to sleep which is soon re-established on wakeup.

    I use a mix of wifi (ASG AP30 and 10) and physical connections. I am currently typing this over the wifi connection, my wife's is sitting on the desk beside me asleep, but connects as soon as it wakes. I can swap quite quickly between two different wifi connections without a problem.

    Check the various logs, web, dhcp, security to see if anything shows around the time the connection drops.

    Since I posted the original problem my wife's MAC hasn't had any more issues. That night I did swap her computer from cabled to wireless. Possibly there is a problem with the network card, patch cable, or in-wall wiring.  Something to test out.
