Process "ctasd" is pegged at 98%

Hi, I'm running an ASG320 at version 7.511, logging into the shell and running top I see a process "ctasd" is pegged at 98% so the box has been running at 100% for some time now.  I can't see anything about this process and what to use to restart/stop, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • I'd be tempted to disable/enable the SMTP Proxy - that might cause a restart.  If not, then try:
    killall -9 ctasd

    /var/mdw/scripts/ctasd restart

    Cheers - Bob
PS Be care to run the first command only once.

  • Thanks Bob,
stopping and starting seemed to do the trick, we're back down to 2%.
(I had tried stopping and starting the AV and Spam - so I was close)

    Thanks,
