DHCP Not Issuing IP/Flooding?

Hey all, i guess there's something wrong with Astaro issuing IP Addresses and it's flooding the live log/log.

Apparently, i've tried with different systems that includes Linux, Windows XP, Vista, 7 and also Mac OS, even Android and iOS but it just doesn't issue IP Address and i'll have to either:


  • Statically assign a IP address (which means turn off DHCP on that client) on the device/computer in order to access the network/internet.
  • Or, statically map the MAC address using Static Mappings
    (Network Services > DHCP > Static Mappings > New DHCP Mapping...)

    I had something similar happen to me today after editing some changes to an existing DHCP servers addressing (I was re-subnetting my IPv6 networks).  The fix that worked for me was to delete that DHCP server entry and recreate it.  Keep in mind that if you do this, the current lease records and static mappings for that server will be deleted.
