Is Astaro still using radvd to advertise IPv6 prefixes and routers?
It was running with 8.10x, after an update it doesn't advertise!
If i try to start it manually:
[Aug 19 10:28:22] radvd: can't open /var/tmp/radvd-1.8-build/usr/etc/radvd.conf: No such file or directory
[Aug 19 10:28:22] radvd: Exiting, permissions on conf_file invalid.
There is a /etc/radvd.conf, so i tried to start radvd with this config file:
[Aug 19 10:31:19] radvd: syntax error in /etc/radvd.conf, line 25: 2a01:198:751:1::
[Aug 19 10:31:19] radvd: error parsing or activating the config file: /etc/radvd.conf
[Aug 19 10:31:19] radvd: Exiting, failed to read config file.
This is the part of radvd.conf:
DNSSL 2A01:198:751:1::/64
{
};
I've added an advertisement without any DNS server.
The config in the screenshot was working in 8.10x, i think the name "Domain" is not very good for this field, shouldn't this be "Network Prefix"?
Any suggestions?
Frank
