General Setup as Gateway/Router

Hi guys and gals,

yesterday, I've sucessfully setup my custom IPX PC with the (already obsolete) ASG 8.102. Now I need to learn, A LOT.
Obviously the vast amount of possibilities of the ASG won't allow me to get to all the details right away but since I'm no IT and networking illiterate I think I might be able to get started with some small steps.

My primary goal is to setup the ASG as Gateway/Router as a replacement for the current one that will be demoted to wireless AP. This includes setting up the two NICs properly. Also, certain static routes will have to be set (webinterface of NAS for instance), that would be a good start. 
Strangely enough, I can't really find any good starters guides, documentation or such, or am I just looking in the wrong spot?

Any advice on where to get started for an Astaro newbie?
