using one nic 802.1q trunk

I would like to run an 802.1 q trunk to Astaro basically installing one nic. I would than sub divide that nic up into vlans one for wan, wireless, lan etc can this be done with Astaro? I know it can be done with Pfsense and Microsoft's ISA server.

Astaro supports VLANs, so the rest depends on your existing infrastructure.

I know it supports vlans I want to know if what I'm asking has ever been done with a single nic

You will probably need an additional NIC for setup.
