Logging and Reporting

Version 8.103.

I have Local Logging enabled and set to never delete with thresholds at 85, 90, 95 and Send, Delete Oldest and Nothing respectively. All log files display 0 bytes.

I have all Reporting Settings checked with 3 months associated with each. I see information under Hardware and Network Usage but everything else is blank. I recall with 8.102 I had reports on Network Security and Remote Access. Unfortunately the latter two report nothing whatsoever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm a Home Licensed User, so I'll probably be following Step #2. The install has only been running on the External Network for about a week now, but prior to that, both NICs were running as DHCP on my old network. Is it possible that when I changed the addresses via the interface, the logic that ties the interface with the logging was erased. Just an assumption.

    Either way, I'll do a backup and install later tonight, however, it's quite possible I'll just model what I did and re-implement it as I'm concerned my backup is corrupt as well, and by using it may make the reinstall moot.

    My apologies for how long this took me to respond. I finally had a moment when I could take down the system and reinstall. I did, however, take the time to make a hardware change in the system, and I'm now using an 80 GB 5400 RPM SATA drive instead of the 16 GB flash drive.

    The good news is that logging is back to normal and working as expected. The bad news is that I can't exactly prove if it was a bad install or the flash drive itself couldn't handle the logging. Figured it would be less troublesome to have a low powered laptop drive at the mere cost of an extra watt hour.

    The only downside is that the backup didn't contain the Reporting History that actually was working, e.g. Hardware and Network Usage. I've already made a post regarding possible restoration. Thanks for your advice, and if I find some spare time, I'll try to setup a test environment with the flash drive for future reference.
