DNS Configuration - Newbie

Hi, I noticed that there are plenty of questions regarding DNS situations but not a how-to configure (at least not that I found) ASG 8 with an internal DNS Server. Is there a how-to that I can look at?

Here is my setup:

I have an ISP fixed IP (123.123.123.1) which has been named ns1.mydomain.com. This is the IP of the external ASG interface.

I have a Ubuntu Bind9 DNS server on my internal network (computer1.mydomain.com - 234.234.234.1) which is set up as an authoritative server (confirmed with dig on internal network). All names resolve correctly on the internal network.

I have setup the DNS forwarders in ASG to the appropriate ISP DNS servers.

Browsing of internet is fine from the internal computers.

When I use a second internet connection to try and browse for my domain services, I cannot find the servers.

It appears that my DNS server is not talking to the outside world.

Is there something that I have to set in the ASG to allow the DNS request thru my ASG (which is 123.123.123.1) to be directed to 234.234.234.1?
