Management API

Is there some sort of API that we can tap into for doing routine management stuff like creating/updating user accounts, creating/modifying web filtering rules, etc. without having to login into the web UI? I'd like to create a nice basic web UI that would interface with the Astaro device that end users can log into that will allow them to create/update white/black URL lists, web filtering categories, Application monitoring rules, etc without having to give them access to the "techy" Astaro web interface.

    There are three things that you have to be concerned with when using the CC tool for modifying Astaro:

    1)  There is no end-user documentation for usage of CC as it isn't meant to be used by customers, so you'll be working somewhat blind on how to correctly make changes.  

    2)  There may be some things that you can do with CC that will not show up in the WebAdmin interface, meaning you will need to self-document any changes made in detail.

    3)  The biggest concern is that unless directed by Astaro Support, manual configuration from the command line is not covered by support contract.  If you are using Astaro under business license in a production environment and something goes wrong not only would manual configuration from the command line mean that Astaro Support may not be able to assist you, but it could negate your support contract entirely...you'd be on your own for fixing the problem.
