Query to find out which host accessed remote server?

Hello Gang,

I am relatively new to Astaro and I am trying to run a query using the logging or reporting features to find out which host on my LAN accessed a specific remote server. I have the IP address of the remote server and would like to use this as search criteria, is there a way to accomplish this? I am running an ASG220 V7.5 OS. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    If you're using the HTTP proxy / content filter, it'd be in the proxy/content filter logs.

    Also, if not using web filtering you can future-proof that by adding logging to your outgoing allow packet filter rule. This will let you see completed tcp and/or udp sessions as well. Keep in mind if you have a large network this can cause some large logs. 

    If your not using web filtering and haven't enabled logging for an allow rule, you won't have the Data you need this time..

    Thanks for the responses. I am not using the web filtering as we have a separate proxy server for this. AngeloC - Thanks for the suggestion, I have enabled logging on my outgoing packet filter, as we only have about ten users and 15 servers that use this gateway.
