Downloaded VMWare Player and the ASG 8.1xx Virtual Appliance today. Thought it would be nice to have it to refer to as I plan deployments.
Instructions for connecting are clear enough, but that doesn't mean much. I changed the address on the virtual NIC8 as instructed, but am unable to connect or ping the appliance.
If I log into the shell and do an ifconfig (?) it shows the expected address.
I am using Windows 7, if it makes a difference.
Any ideas what I should do next?
Man, is nothing ever straightforward in this world any more?
