WLAN separation through VLANs...

Has anyone gotten this to work without using the Astaro APs?

I am attempting to setup public and a private wifi networks using 3Com APs that support multiple SSIDs with different VLAN Ids. I set the public SSID with VLAN 2 and created an IF on the ASG for that VLAN id. I also tagged the ports on the switch (netgear) going to the APs and the ASG with VLAN 2 to limit that traffic to those ports. There does not seem to be any traffic flowing to the IF on the ASG tagged with VLAN 2.

Any ideas?

    According to the guide.. you can only have one vlan on a particular port.. that is a problem since I either want to use 1 access point to support multiple ssid's, thus multiple vlans, or in the case where I separate the ssids on separate waps, if the waps are on an extended part of the network, the vlans need to traverse a single trunk port connection.. how do I make that work?
