HA ssh howto

Hello Friends !

How do i access ssh on HA cluster ?

Is it mandatory to use port 22,with port 22 i am able to use ha_utils ssh 
 again there is lot of login /passwd guessing (i can see many many failed login email )attack  i can see when i use port 22 

can i use port 22222 instead of 22 ?
i was thinking of use sshkey but again that become operational headache
