Multi external IP address routing

Ok, so... I just upgraded my home internet connection and now have additional static IP addresses at my disposal. I would like to configure Astaro to allow these IP addresses to be routed directly to physical machines on my network (additional web servers and what not) - but still be managed by ASG for security.

I searched the ASG Support Center as well as the forums and have not found any clear documentation on how to best achieve this goal.

I have only one WAN NIC on this machine and would like to be able to listen on all of the addresses that I have been given (five total). It is my understanding that my modem is capable of broadcasting all of these addresses from a single port - however it is up to my ASG box to do the routing to the individual servers.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for documentation?

Hi,

You will want to create an additional address for each of these static IP's on your external interface. You can find this in webadmin if you go to, Interfaces & Routing >> Interfaces >> Additional addresses tab. The only documentation I found is in the help in webadmin or the manual, I didn't see any articles in the knowledgebase.

Hi chemist,

as dilandau already stated you have to create additional addresses for each IP address.
Then you can create SNAT and DNAT entries for you hosts to map these additional addresses to the private ones.

A other solution would be to set the ASG in bridge mode and configure the public IP addresses on the hosts directly...
