SNMP Interface Description

For all interface I define names like "SDSL", "Internal" in the Astaro configuration.
If I use a network management system to discover and measure the interfaces these names are not revealed. Usually the should be visible in the "ifDesc" field of the MIB-2 interface MIB. The interfaces are visible as eth0, eth1, ... but the description is not shown.
Can that be enabled somehwere?
