VPN and Internal Domain - No Network Neighborhood

Okay... VPN works splendidly.  However, when my users login, they cannot use network neighborhood.  Why?   Is there a method to make their VPN connection seem as though they are behind the firewall on the active directly domain?

  • 1) The first thing that you want to look at are packet filter rules for traffic between your VPN Pool and your LAN?

    2)  If these are XP or older systems, it would probably benefit you to define WINS in Remote Access>>Advanced.

    3)  A MASQ rule for  VPN Pool --->  Internal can also sometimes be helpful if you want the VPN clients to appear to be LAN machines.
