Restoring Astaro Home version

I apologize if this is listed somewhere, I did a search but it didn't return anything that seemed to be relevant.

Some time ago the computer I was running my Astaro set up on crashed, I am assuming a hard drive failure. Instead of rebuilding that machine I have elected to purchase a dell poweredge 1750 series server to become my security appliance.

Can I go through the install process then restore from my last back up file and everything work as it was before?

I am hoping not to have to start over from scratch as it took me a considerable time to get the original set-up running like I wanted it to be. My current travel schedule doesn't allow for that kind of tinkering right now.

Hi, yes, you can import a backup file into an new install.
You will also need do import your license. If you don't have it, you can get it (or a new one) from my.astaro.com

I saved my license file so I will be good there as well.
