Flushing old DHCP leases (licensing?)

Over the last week or so, I've been experimenting a lot with virtual machines, using different hypervisors.  One unfortunate side-effect: every time a newly created VM comes on the network, it is given a new IPv4 address, which ends up counting towards my 50 host limit.  I just got an email warning this morning about exceeding 90% of my IP limit.  Is there a recommended way of flushing the dhcp lease table?  Thanks!

  • If you want to flush the DHCP leases immediately, try making smaller the range (like from .120 - .150 to .120 - .121).
Then, restore your old range and you'll see that your DHCP lease table is (almost) empty, except for 1.
