From time to time, I have an issue in v8.1 which existed before in v8 too...
Sometimes the dsl line goes down for a couple of seconds (happens once every 2 months or so).
My config in the Astaro uses pppoe in the firewall, and the modem/router in bridged mode.
After a disconnect, the Astaro pppoe doesn't come up again for some reason.
This happens on both my installations, 2 different modem/bridges, 2 different providers.
This morning I had 8.102 installed, the connections were reloaded, and one of the firewalls dropped the connection, and doesn't make it come up again...
As I'm not near the firewall, I can't look at the logs until this afternoon...
Is there anything to be done to make the connection reappear after such a short disconnect? Any script that can look for disconnected connections, and do a restart of the connection through a cron job or so?
At the moment this behavior is no disaster, but starting march 5th, we need to rely on that connection for our streaming 24/7.... which is why I chose Astaro in the first place...
Any ideas would be welcome, please let me know!!!
