[WARN-129] Message every hour

Hi everyone,

After some network reconfigurations on weekend I receive the following notification every hour:


The spam filter daemon is unable to reach the database servers via HTTP. Please make sure that the device is able to send HTTP (TCP port 80) requests to the Internet. You may have to allow such traffic on upstream devices.


The ASG is connected to the Internet with a public IP. Apart from this notification everything seems to work fine - also the web traffic!

Suspicion:
I deleted and recreated the interface definitions. Is it possible that I messed up some internal firewall rules?

Version is ASG7.509

    Yes, it's possible.  Even though they look the same, if you recreate interfaces, they have a different internal REF ID than they had originally and anything that references the old interface definitions (address, network, broadcast) may need to be re-pointed at the new definitions.
     
    Three things I would do, 1)  Check the applicable packet filter rule that handles outbound HTTP traffic to make certain that it looks right.  2)  If you have a MASQ rule that comes into play here, you also want to check that.  3)  Try rebooting and see if it helps.

    Thank's for the hint. I changed the Traffic Selector for the NAT rule
    from Internet -> HTTP -> Any  
    to Internet -> HTTP -> WAN (Address)

    Now I've got the notification 
    The automatic Up2Date package prefetch is working again.


    I'll keep an eye on it anyway.
