VMware Server and Astaro

Hi all!

It's possible to use two virtual interfaces tied to one physical interface on Astaro? This setting would be applied using one of the virtual interfaces for a VPN tunnel and the other to access the local network.

    Hi,
    it depends on what VMWare you are running. If you use ESXi you can do by using VLANs (802.11q) and TAG the Portgroup with that VLAN.
    you also need a Switch that is capable of 802.11q and configure a Trunk between the ESXi and the Switch. 

    For security resons I would apreciate this sollution. 

    If you use a VMWare Server you have to configure all on the Host but there is a little possibility that this can be insecure. 

    For more detailed information i guess we need more info about your infrastructure.
