How to disable DHCP server?

Hi,

I was using astaro's builtin dhcp server for my dmz servers. But I want to disable it. I deleted all static mappings and the server/subnet definitions. Nothing left in DHCP section of Astaro. But now I am getting tens of notifications about "Dhcpd not running, restarted". As Isc-dhcp server is known not to work without any subnet definition, it's expected that it exits once it started without any subnets. But the problem is Astaro tries to restart it after it exits and this causes a loop [:)] So why Astaro is so stubborn about dhcpd and just don't let it rest in peace?

So how can I really disable dhcpd?

    Probably something has gone wrong wehen deleting all the DHCP paramters.
    I suggest you again create a DHCP server on the same SAME interface with correct VALID network settings.
    Activate it (green LED light).  Look into the log, dhcp should start up and all should work.
    Then deactivate it the DHCP server  and THEN delete it.
    Hopefully then your problem has vanished. If notz - ask Astaro support to have a look on it.
